Important: Check for contraindications...

check for surgery, dentures and metal in the mouth; contact lenses and eye issues.


Grounding. Gently place your full hand on the clients cheeks, the side of their face.

Stay focused and away from the eyes.

Use light strokes at first. Get feedback from your client.

  1. Gently place the full pads of your fingers on the forehead.

    Apply finger rotations with light compression.

    Move your fingers in a circular motion across the skin. Only stay in one place for three finger rotations, then move on.

    Perform the same rotation, circular motion with your full finger pads to the temples.


  2. Then, move down to the cheek bones, under the eye. Gently move your finger pads in a circular fashion.

    Cover the whole cheek with gentle compressions and circular movements.

    Perform gentle friction movements along the bottom edge of the zygoma.


  3. Move on to the masseter muscles. Do the same reflexology face techniques.

    Some myofascial massage works wonders. Place the whole length of your fingers on the masseter muscles.

    Gently stretch the skin and hold for about 3 minutes. Release.


  4. Place your finger pads above the top lip. Stretch the skin laterally for a count of 3. Release.

    Perform this techniques three times.

  5. Softly squeeze the chin and mandible, all the way to the ears using fingers and thumbs.

    Repeat several times.

    You can also perform gentle circular movements and compressions.


  6. Transition to the temples, the area just lateral to the eyes. Rotate your fingers.Move in a circular fashion.

    You can even move your fingers into the temporal region, into the hair. Helps release tension.


  7. Ears are next, mirroring the whole body, similar to the face.

    Spend some time, three minutes or so, squeezing, pulling, and massaging the ears.

  8. This routine ends with the head. Take your finger pads and thumbs and use compressions and circular fiction all around the head.


  9. Finish by softly placing your palms and fingers on the shoulders of the client.

    Take a few breathes.
