- Warm up the hand and wrist with basic Swedish stokes: gliding, kneading, and movement.
- Then, take every finger in turn, gently squeeze, twist, pull
- repeat on the thumb.
- using your fingers, trough through the area's between the knuckles
- massage and knead the knuckles.
- On tops, bottoms and sides of the fingers and thumb, perform finger walking technique. Small "inch worm" movements from tip to base.
- Stretch the fingers.
- Perform finger brushing. Softly brushing the tips of their fingers with your palm.
- Next, the pink part. The lungs, chest and upper back.
- Take your thumbs and perform thumb rotations all over the back of the hand.
- Glide in different directions, moving the skin, muscles, and tendons.

This reflexology chart shows the addition of the upper back [blue], lower back [orange], and the lower extremity [orange].
It also includes the prostate, fallopian tubes, uterus, and lymphatics [light blue/green].
- Focus on the back of the upper hand and wrist.
- Glide your fingers and thumbs through these area's. Go in different directions.
- Perform thumb walking across the hand and wrist.
- Do the wrist boogie, a jostling technique, and take the wrist through a range of motion.
- Pump the lymphatics by gliding your palm from the clients fingers, up the hand, wrist and arm. Do this a dozen times.
Put these two routines together for a full hand reflexology treatment. Modify and customize as you desire.
