The following face reflexology charts show zones of referred pain from specific muscles.

I've cataloged the color to muscles that refer into that zone...

  • Dark Green -- sternocleidomastoid, masseter, medial and lateral pterygoids, trapezius, digastic muscles, buccinator, platysma, obicularis oculi, zygomatic major

  • Red -- SCM, frontalis, zygomatic major

  • Purple - eyes -- SCM, temporalis, splenius cervicis, masseter, suboccipitals, occipitalis, orbicularis oculi, trapezius, hyoid muscles, longus capitus, longus colli

  • Yellow - ears -- medial and lateral pterygoids, masseter, SCM, hyoid muscles, longus colli, palatini

  • Lime Green - neck -- trapezius, multifidus, levator scapula, splenius cervicis, infraspinatus, longus colli, longus capitis, scalenes

  • Pink - back of head -- trapezius, semispinalis capitis and cervicis, SCM, suboccipitals, occipitalis, temporalis

  • Tooth Ache -- temporalis, masseter, digastric muscles
